Our approach
This website is designed to operate without advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, social-media tracking pixels or technologies used to profile individual visitors.
This notice covers cookies and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, a visitor's device, including scripts, tags and local storage.
Technologies currently used
For visitors, none. As verified by technical audits of the deployed website on 13, 14 and 15 July 2026, browsing this website without signing in does not set cookies, does not write to local or session storage, and does not load resources from third-party services. Fonts are served from our own website. With one exception, described below, when a free tool is used without signing in and without choosing a save function, the information entered into the tool is processed in the browser and is not intentionally transmitted to or saved by Wentworth Ridge. Standard server and security logs may still be generated when the page is accessed.
If you choose to sign in to a tool account, your browser stores authentication tokens so that you stay signed in:

These technologies are necessary to provide the account requested by the user. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and they are removed when you sign out. Because they are strictly necessary, consent is not required for them; this notice describes them instead.
Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. That processing happens on the server rather than through storage on your device, and is described in our Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service provided by our hosting provider, to understand in aggregate which pages and tools are used. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device's storage, which is why it does not appear in the technology table above.
When a page loads, a small script served from this website records the page address, the referring page, the browser and device type, and the country derived from the connection. Visits are counted using a short-lived, rotating identifier computed by the service that cannot be linked back to you and is not stored on your device. We see aggregate statistics only: no individual profiles, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising use.
Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, consent is not required for this measurement. If you prefer not to be counted at all, content blockers that block the script are respected and the website works fully without it.
Tools that look up official records
One tool, the vehicle and MOT history check, sends the registration mark you enter to this website's own server so that it can retrieve the official record. Our server then asks the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, and where available the DVLA, for that vehicle's details and returns them to your browser.
Your browser contacts no one but this website, and nothing is stored on your device, so no consent is needed for the check to work. We do not save the registration mark: it is used to make the request and then discarded. Our Privacy Policy describes that processing in full.
Every other tool on this website runs in your browser in the way described above.
Third-party content
This website does not embed videos, maps, social-media content, chat tools or third-party fonts. We do not activate embedded content that sets non-essential technologies before obtaining any consent that is required.
Changes
We will update this notice and, where necessary, our consent or objection controls before introducing a technology for a new purpose.
